Charges:

Accounts are billed monthly in advance. Each subscriber's monthly billing cycle begins upon the day of the month from when they initially registered their Personal Information Locker account. Your billing cycle ends on the preceding day of the month of the next subsequent month. For example, if you register on the 3rd day of the month, then your billing cycle will be from the 3rd day of the month up to and including the 2nd day of the next month.

All billing charges are in US dollars. We do accept foreign currencies at this time.


Payment Methods:

Personal Information Locker accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club, and JCB credit cards.

Updating your Billing Information:

Our billing services are provided by PayPal. To modify your billing information, you can either log into your PayPal subscription page and make the desired changes or access your PayPal subscription page via your PILocker account configuration page.

Non-Payment:

If an invalid credit authorization occurs during your initial account registration, then the registration process will be aborted and your account will not be created.

If a future billing collection fails for any reason (such as insufficient funds or an expired credit card), PayPal will attempt to recharge your credit card twice over an 8 day period. If PayPal is unable to successfully charge your credit card account, we will send an email to your registered email address stating that your account is past due and that you have ten business days to reestablish a successful credit card charge (via your PayPal subscription page). If your account is not successfully credited within this ten day grace period, we will record your subscription as being canceled with an Account Termination Date on the next business day after this ten day grace period. Your Personal Information Locker account will not be accessible after the Account Termination Date and we will treat your account in the same manner as described in the Canceling your account section below concerning the retention of your account archives.


Canceling your account:

You may cancel your subscription to Personal Information Locker at any time. Once you cancel your subscription, your account will remain active until the end of the current monthly billing cycle. Once you cancel your subscription, your Account Termination Date will be the last day of your current billing cycle. You can still use the Personal Information Locker services through the end of the Account Termination Date. After the Account Termination Date, access to your account will be disallowed. Personal Information Locker will retain an archive of your account information for 30 days after the Account Termination Date. After that 30 day period, Personal Information Locker will remove your account's information from the Personal Information Locker repositories.

If you cancel your subscription before the end of the current monthly billing cycle, you can not get a partial refund for the remainder of the billing cycle.

To cancel your account, go your your my account page, select the subscription tab, and then select the Cancel Subscription button.
